Takeshi Iwanaga is a General Manager at Tokyo Gas Australia Pty Ltd, Takeshi joined Tokyo Gas Australia in April 2017 where he is taking care of the company’s initial investment project, Darwin LNG project, in Australia.
Prior to this, Takeshi Iwanaga worked in the LNG procurement section of Tokyo Gas Co Ltd in Japan, which imports more than 6 million tons of LNG from Australia in 2018 and was engaged in the planning of the overall LNG procurement portfolio.
Takeshi Iwanaga is now taking care of Queensland Curtis LNG project, one of the three east coast LNG exporting projects on the Curtis island, which is the only project Tokyo Gas invests on the east coast of Australia.
Takeshi Iwanga has a Bachelor’s degree of Laws in the University of Tokyo, and a Master’s degree of Business Administration in the Yale University.
