Felicity Underhill joined Origin in 2010 and was appointed General Manager, Strategy (H2) in January 2019, where she is investigating how hydrogen might fit within Origin’s future energy mix. Felicity has a history of designing and then implementing strategies, including being the architect of a complete operating model change within Origin’s Integrated Gas business, as well as the digital and innovation strategies for the gas assets. Felicity has almost twenty years’ experience in oil and gas, particularly in operational excellence, strategy, business development and joint venture management, largely amassed while working with Shell and its joint ventures in around twenty-five countries. As a New Zealander, living in Australia is considered a massive betrayal of her country, though she is still a strong supporter of NZ rugby and continues to try to support NZ cricket.
Felicity Underhill will provide a keynote address on the realities of becoming a major hydrogen provider – understanding some of the challenges, opportunities and collaboration factors within the Renewable and Hydrogen Project Opportunities session at Energy Mines and Money 2020.
