The Capricorn Copper mine is one of the largest copper development projects completed in Australia during the last decade. It is located in a prolific base metals region, 125km north of Mt Isa in North West Queensland. Capricorn Copper is an existing, fully permitted operation, with a significant high-grade resource base. The mine commenced operations in 2017, on time and on budget, and is expected to produce approximately 30ktpa of copper in concentrate over an initial Mine Life of 10 years.

As Australia’s newest copper producer, Capricorn Copper is well positioned, in a strengthening copper market, to achieve further success and deliver significant growth from a platform built on a high quality mid-tier copper operation and a highly prospective exploration portfolio.

Capricorn Copper will be exhibiting at Energy, Mines and Money Australia. Download the programme now.
