Bowen Coking Coal holds the Cooroorah, Isaac River, Hillalong and Comet Ridge Coking Coal Projects, all located in the world renowned Bowen basin in Queensland, Australia. In addition, Bowen Coking Coal is a joint venture partner in the Lilyvale (15% interest) and Mackenzie (5% interest) Coking Coal Projects with Stanmore Coal Limited (ASX: SMR).
The highly experienced Board and management aim to generate significant shareholder returns by combining their experience in the coal industry with the inherent value of BCB’s excellent coking coal portfolio. This may include developing the assets into profitable coal mines, agreeing strategic partnerships with global industry participants, asset disposals, or a combination thereof.
An aggressive two-year exploration and development program, commencing with the maiden drill program at the Cooroorah Project and including maiden resource definitions for Isaac River and Hillalong, underpins the Company’s initial business strategy.
